Here are some more 'polished' storyboards, representative of the kind of work I did drawing pitch boards for animatics at Overbrook.

These are part of a personal project, and are mostly an exercise in anticipation.

METRO

METRO, the award-winning short film I made at BYU, now on Vimeo.
I boarded, animated, directed, and painted the backgrounds for this film.  Some cleanup, character and effects animation was provided by credited individuals.

ALIENS 3 (William Gibson screenplay)

Since I've been unable to publicly post any of the boards I drew for Nickelodeon or Overbrook, I'm posting boards drawn on my own time based on William Gibson's unused screenplay for Alien 3.

Arthur Newman board to film comparison

Arthur Newman was the first feature film I boarded for, and this is one of my favorite frames, in terms of storytelling.   The deadline was super tight, and a lot of the locations (like this house) changed on me, but I'm still happy with how this idea translated into film.

First Boards of my First Job (2011)

This deadline was tight.  These were done at a rate of 1 board/3minutes without location photos between illustrating a textbook and penciling comics.
